THE LOCAL TOWN

If you prefer fresh water, close to the city center there is a large lake surrounded by a green lawn and trees, perfect for a refreshing swim.

The local region is home to the activities of Capoeira, Ecotourism, Jungle Treking, Surfing, and Mountain Biking to name just a few. This is also a region of research and study with the aim of preserving and reforesting the Atlantic Rainforest. There are many such places of natural magnificence here. HOW TO GET
Serra Grande is located on the BA-001 park road, between Itacaré and Ilhéus, about 30 km from each city.
Air Transport
The nearest airport is located in Ilhéus (IOS) receiving daily flights with LATAM, GOL and AZUL originating from São Paulo, Brasília, Belo Horizonte and Salvador.
Ground transportation
The BR-101 is the main access for those coming from the southern region of the country. For those coming from the northern region, the best access is via the BA-001.
